Iren Rinmad
IREN RINMAD was born and raised on Sweden’s west coast, just outside Gothenburg. After spending many years abroad in cities like New York and London, she returned to the southern archipelago of Gothenburg and has worked as a yoga teacher since 2004.
Writing has always been a key part of Iren’s creative expression. She has authored three books in a genre she calls spiritual fiction—a category inspired by her interest in life’s purpose and deeper meaning.

Polarstar Circus
This genre emerged from her realisation that there was a gap in the book market for stories that inspire readers while weaving in a captivating narrative. Iren describes spiritual fiction as a journey where the outer story consistently draws the reader inward, encouraging reflection.
Many readers describe being touched on a deeper level, with some drawing comparisons to the works of Paulo Coelho. Her books have also been described as "feel-good," insightful, and inspiring, and they have received positive reviews from book bloggers and readers alike.
Her third manuscript, Polarstar Circus, was her first draft for a novel years ago. In this story, we follow Ivana as she struggles to claim her place in a male-dominated world where patriarchy rules with an iron fist. It is a journey of finding security and stability in the constant movement of circus life—discovering the meaning of home, even while constantly on the road. But none of the circus family members know the way home. Only the star knows—the Pole Star.
