Daniel Andersson
DANIEL ANDERSSON was raised in the rural landscapes of Uppland and trained as a structural engineer. Since 2008, he has made his home in Enköping, where he lives with his partner, their children, and a cat. When he is not designing, building frameworks, or spending time with his family, Daniel enjoys outdoor adventures such as hiking and fishing.
From an early age, Daniel’s imagination was fuelled by the captivating worlds of superheroes, sparking a lifelong desire to create his own fictional universe. Inspired by the dark, atmospheric tones of Batman and Sin City, he brought Logtown City to life—a gritty, near-future metropolis where moral ambiguity reigns and the line between good and evil is constantly blurred.
The idea for his novel was born from a compelling question: What happens when the lawyer of a powerful crime boss is arrested for a serious offence? Do they betray their client to save themselves or remain loyal at all costs? And how do those around them react?
Determined to answer these questions, Daniel crafted a story filled with larger-than-life characters facing real human dilemmas. The result is a hard-boiled crime novel that blends suspense, moral complexity, and the allure of a dystopian future.
One Night in Logtown City
Back Cover Text for One Night in Logtown City
As the police make their biggest arrest ever—taking down a notorious defense attorney—a brutal enforcer rampages through the city like a one-man army. No one knows who he is or what his goal might be, only that he must be stopped before he causes too much destruction.
A seasoned interrogator is called back from vacation to assist in both investigations, while a masked vigilante digs deep into the underworld in search of clues.
Over the course of a single night, their paths cross in a city where werewolves, superheroes, and corrupt cops all fight for control of Logtown City.
